Powertech adds acreage in South Dakota |

by Staff Northern Colorado Business Report January 13, 2009 DENVER - Powertech Uranium Corp. has entered into an agreement with Neutron Energy Inc. to exchange properties that will add to Powertech's Dewey-Burdock project in South Dakota. The agreement exchanges Powertech-owned properties in New Mexico, Wyoming and South Dakota for Neutron-owned property adjacent to the Dewey-Burdock project in southwestern South Dakota. Powertech will gain about 1,620 acres in the Dewey-Burdock area. "This exchange of properties between Powertech and Neutron will assist both companies in achieving their goals of consolidating key acreage that will strengthen their strategic positions at each of their priority uranium development projects," said Richard Clement, Powertech USA president. "Our acquisition of these key claims and leases, along with the recent acquisition of claims from Bayswater Uranium Corp., will bring Powertech's land position to approximately 18,000 acres of mineral interests and surface rights at the Dewey-Burdock project." Powertech USA, a Denver-based wholly owned subsidiary of the Canadian company Powertech, is also involved in uranium exploration in Weld County, with its 5,700-acre Centennial project near Nunn.
