CARD would like to thank all the local musicians who participated in the recent all-day concert (Sunday, March 2, 2008) at Avogadro's in Fort Collins to raise money to support our effort to stop uranium mining in northern Colorado. We especially want to thank Lloyd Drust who organized the concert and Rob Osborn, the owner of Avogadro's and a CARD Public Supporter (Rob provided his sound stage and place for free and made sure the CARD volunteers and musicians were well fed all day).

The concert was a big success. We raised almost $3,000 through voluntary donations and increased our petition signees to over 8,000. We look forward to the song that musician Russ Hopkins wrote specifically for NunnGlow.
