Gavin Mudd, PhD, is an internationally known and respected expert on the environmental impacts and management of mining, particularly In Situ Leaching (ISL) uranium mining. He traveled from his native Australia to share his expertise on this controversial subject in a talk held on Tuesday, August 18, 2009.
