The Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety found an open and unattended hole during a recent inspection of Powertech's drilling operation on their proposed uranium mine site near Nunn. When notified of the drilling violation, Powertech personnel scrambled to a local Wellington hardware store to purchase the appropriate hole capping materials. The results are shown in the accompanying photo.
