Powertech has filed a request with the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety to dig a groundwater holding pit on the Centennial Uranium Project in Weld County. The pit is to be located in Section 33 (T10N and R67W) and will be used to hold the discharge from an aquifer pumping test to be conducted in April 2009. The pit will contain a maximum of 190,000 gallons of groundwater.
